“ Outstanding place to visit with the family. We would boat all through the summer, and one of the highlights would be to stop by the place with the family and enjoy their hospitality. Busy place. Great food, reasonable prices, the music the service are outstanding and just overall a great place to hang out with friends and family. They always have some sort of event happening and we went for the downstairs artic bar and WOW! What a great setup! Highly recommend it! ”
“ Broken Oar is always a good time! It's a unique and inviting atmosphere along the Fox River. Their band venues are always amazing, with a mix of music that will get you on the dance floor! Their high-energy staff are absolutely incredible and very attentive. The only thing I believe needs a makeover is their menu. The food could be better... in my opinion, used to be. Some items have too much seasoning while others are slightly bland or just basic bar snacks, and for what is served, it's a bit pricey. I highly recommend going for a good time during their venues! You'll have a blast! ”

She was warm, gracious, and genuinely cared about us. You don’t come across service like that every day. Diane, you’re a proper diamond... you truly made our visit special. “ Late in writing my review but here it is. We went to the Arctic Winter Bar. It was a great time! They had a special drink list for it which were a lot of fun. The flatbread pizza we had was very tasty. If they have it again this winter, I highly recommend attending. ”
“ Been coming here for years. Great atmosphere! A bit pricey but I suppose that helps pay for the nice entertainment. At this time, it was 5.00 for a draught beer. 15 for a small cocktail. Tried the lobster Mac and cheese for 23. It was ok. Went and saw a friend's band play and met up with some other friends. Always a lot of staff on duty, so seldom have a long wait at the bar. Sporting events on the TV's. I will continue to come here when I want to see a band. ”
